Job summary

The Lead Cook will mentor staff, manage prep and service, and uphold safety, cleanliness, and efficiency while maintaining great hospitality and professionalism with guests and fellow team members.

Qualifications

• Lead kitchen experience in hospitality/food service.
• Basic knife skills preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Self-motivated with willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
• Commitment to excellence in hospitality and guest dining.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and support the team to streamline dining services.
• Cook, grill and serve menu offerings at designated stations.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as stove, griddle, and open flame grills.
• Move pans and food safely between workstations and storage.
• Prepare and serve food per guest specifications.
• Maintain safety, temperature logs, and rotation procedures.
• Restock supplies and manage inventory as directed.
• Setup and breakdown stations and maintain cleanliness.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to guests and team.
