The Radisson Blu Sunnyvale – Silicon Valley is seeking an energetic and detail oriented Cook Lead to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. This full-time role requires kitchen leadership, food preparation, and adherence to high standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; culinary degree not required.
• Minimum 2 years cooking experience preferred.
• Experience at a similar size and quality hotel recommended.
• Ability to read and follow basic cooking directions.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and plate presentation.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support kitchen staff during shifts.
• Assist in training new cooks and kitchen staff.
• Act as liaison between cooks and front-of-house staff.
• Place food and supplies orders and maintain logs.
• Prepare and garnish all food orders per menu specifications.
• Ensure proper equipment operation and food safety compliance.
• Coordinate timing with servers to finish tables on schedule.
