Qualifications

• Previous culinary or cooking experience or a valid culinary degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored following established recipes.
• Oversees cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use and performs routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy and maintains organized storage.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Maintains daily production records and completes required documentation and logs.
• Assists in cross training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
