Role and Responsibilities

What You’ll Do: As a Lead Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while prioritizing customer service. Your passion for food and warm smile will positively impact those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for various meal periods, including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
  • Read and follow recipes and product directions for preparing food.
  • Support food service at an a la carte station or operate a grill station.
  • Assist management in daily operations and oversight of staff.
  • Attend work and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

What You Bring:

  • Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and committed to a safe working environment.
  • 3-4 years of related work experience preferred.
