Responsibilities
The Cook Lead will lead the preparation of food for patients, staff, and visitors of the healthcare facility following safe cooking techniques. Assists in the oversight of staff to ensure that all processes and procedures are being followed. Prepares food for multiple therapeutic diets and complies with state and federal laws and regulations related to food preparation in a healthcare environment. Supports quality control measures such as recipe adherence and food quality consistency.
Qualifications
Minimum two (2) years of experience in food services required or one (1) year of hospital experience preferred.
Associate's Degree or two years of equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of Associate's Degree.
