Job summary

Tigg's Canteen Services in Ionia MI is seeking a permanent full-time Lead Cook for Ionia County Jail. You will lead meal preparation, read and follow recipes, and ensure operations run smoothly in a structured correctional environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, flexibility for weekends and holidays, and shifts between 8:30am and 6:30pm (10-hour shifts). You will be expected to lift up to 50 pounds and have the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff.

Salary: $19.00 per hour
