LUN-A-TIC Position Summary

The Lead Cook is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing and cooking menu items according to Luna Grill recipes.

• Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using various kitchen equipment.
• Knows and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies.
• Stocks and maintains sufficient food levels at line stations for smooth service.
• Ports food according to standard portion sizes and recipes.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station.
• Assists in food prep during off-peak times.
• Closes the kitchen following the closing checklist and assists others in closing.
• Attends team meetings and training, offering suggestions for improvement.
• Performs other duties such as dishwashing and bussing as needed.
