Job summary

Tigg's Canteen Services in Bellaire, MI is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Lead Cook for Antrim County Jail. This leadership role requires you to guide meal prep, read and follow recipes, and maintain a clean, efficient kitchen in a structured correctional environment.

The position offers a starting wage of $19.00 per hour, weekend and holiday rotation, and a benefits package including 401K and Paid Time Off. Prior kitchen experience is desirable but training is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and supervise kitchen staff as needed.

Previous food service or kitchen experience would be a plus, but we can train the right person!
