Job summary

E Tech Group in Fremont, CA is seeking a Controls Engineering Manager to lead a growing team of engineers focused on industrial automation and control solutions for Life Sciences, Mission Critical, and other industries. This onsite role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to drive project delivery while managing budgets and P&L.

You will mentor engineers, design and configure PLC/SCADA systems, collaborate with sales and project management, and ensure client

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent background.
• 8+ years in industrial automation / controls integration.
• 3+ years managing and leading a team.
• Ability to develop PLC/HMI programs in one or more languages (Schneider Electric, AVEVA, Rockwell, etc.)
• Experience with process controls instrumentation.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
• DNA of collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and technical resources to build a strong project delivery capability.
• Design and implementation of integrated electrical and control systems.
• Configure PLC/SCADA networks and instrumentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, production, and field service staff.
• Manage project budget and schedule to meet client expectations.
• Drive profit and loss of the team on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Meet with key clients to ensure satisfaction and growth opportunities.
