Job summary

The role requires 3–5 years in controls, strong PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Siemens, GE-IP), AutoCAD proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 50% or relocate.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in control systems and PLC programming.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements control systems (logic software and hardware) to meet process requirements.
• Develops schematics detailing control system configuration and wiring; designs equipment panels in AutoCAD.
• Develop Sequence of Operation detailing control strategies; lead design reviews with customer for approvals.
• Travel to customer sites to perform system checkout and startup of the control system.
• Develop final record documentation and provide system training to the customer.
• Work on automation and control system integration projects for multiple industries including manufacturing and data centers.
• Act as technical lead on projects; guide engineers and technicians.
• On smaller projects, serve as Project Manager: implement plans, assign work, develop schedules, manage costs and change orders.
