Wunderlich-Malec Engineering in Beaverton, OR is seeking an Associate Controls Engineer to contribute to PLC/SCADA/HMI programming, instrumentation, and start-up support.

You will develop control logic and UI applications, create schematics and AutoCAD layouts, and assist with system check-out and documentation. Travel up to 20% is required as projects span pharma/biotech, water/wastewater, and data centers.

Formación

• Recent graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in Controls Engineering.
• Preference for candidates with understanding of control systems, ladder logic programming, SCADA programming and their applications.
• Preference for understanding of instrumentation and controls design as well as PLC and/or SCADA.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement control systems to meet process, machine, and integrated system requirements.
• Develop control logic and user interface applications.
• Develop schematics detailing control system configuration and wiring, and design equipment panel layouts on AutoCAD software.
• Assist with initial start-up and debug integrated systems and the development of system documentation.
• Work on automation and control system integration projects for clients in industries such as pharma/biotech, water/wastewater, data centers, etc.
• Adheres to scope, quality, schedule and budget requirements of assigned tasks.
• Develops collaborative partnerships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
