IEG USA is seeking a highly skilled Lead Controls Electrical Technician or Journeyman to install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy. The role requires reading schematics, working with high‑voltage systems, and using precision diagnostic tools to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

The position is full-time, on-site in Fayetteville, NC, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Lead Controls Electrical Technician or Journeyman.
• Strong knowledge of high‑voltage systems and electrical maintenance.
• Proficiency with voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other precision electrical tools.
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control systems per standards and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Design, install PLC-based control panels and write ladder logic programs.
• Program and troubleshoot control systems and determine machine sequences.
• Install conduit, wiring, and related components with craftsmanship.
• Document maintenance and repair activities for compliance and reference.
