Reading schematics, handling high-voltage systems, and using precision diagnostic tools are essential. Responsibilities include PLC-based panel design, ladder logic, testing, wiring, documentation, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in lead controls electrical technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems and maintenance practices.
• Experience designing, programming and installing PLC-based systems.
• Must hold a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control systems to standards.
• Use voltmeters, ohmmeters and precision instruments to diagnose issues.
• Read and interpret schematics and drawings accurately.
• Conduct tests on high-voltage systems for safety and operation.
• Design and install PLC-based panels and ladder logic programs.
• Program and troubleshoot control sequences and machine operations.
• Install conduit, wiring and related components with craftsmanship.
• Document all maintenance activities for compliance.
• Follow safety protocols in hands-on manufacturing environments.
