Job summary

GE Vernova, Longmont, CO, seeks a Lead Engineer to drive regulatory compliance for Global GP Controls Platform products, focusing on Nuclear Projects & NPIs. You will collaborate with Controls Engineering, GE Vernova STG, and customers to ensure product compliance across life cycles.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, interpreting international codes, and interfacing with authorities to obtain certifications. Relocation support is available for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years’ experience in engineering design (preferably Nuclear Energy).
• Minimum of 2 years working with IEC, EU Directives & Americas Codes & Standards.
• Minimum of 1 year Industrial Control product knowledge with GE Mark*, LS2100e, EX2100e, HMI/NW HW or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical compliance for SCS projects and NPIs, ensuring adherence to international and nuclear-specific standards.
• Conduct regulatory assessments, create compliance plans, and interpret complex codes for product design.
• Act as the primary interface with external agencies and government bodies to secure certifications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Field teams to implement compliant processes.
