Thermo Systems LLC in Reston, VA seeks an experienced Control Systems Project Engineer to lead multiple projects, provide engineering support, and assume ultimate responsibility for assigned tasks. We require a B.S.

in EE/ME/CS or related field with typically 7+ years total experience, including 3+ years as a Control Systems Project Engineer I or equivalent. Strong skills in reading P&ID diagrams, HMI/PLC development, and QMS are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/ME/CS or related field with relevant experience.
• Typically 7+ years total experience.
• Proven track record: 3+ years as Control Systems Project Engineer I or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor co-workers during start-up and commissioning of systems.
• Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Develop and edit HMI and PLC applications.
• Ensure adherence to the company QMS and complex control system design.
• Lead IT systems, network infrastructure, and computer system designs for control system integration.
• Estimate task durations and manage schedules and budgets.
