Job summary

Saulsbury Industries is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to drive PLC/DCS programming and HMI configurations for large midstream, refining, and petrochemical projects. You will collaborate with multiple disciplines, pre-qualify scopes, and support project schedules with strong documentation and testing discipline.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in control systems, and comfort with 30% travel. EIT licensure or the ability to obtain is preferred.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent I/E & control systems experience.
5+ years’ experience required, 10+ years preferred.
EIT licensure required or ability to obtain after joining.
Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

Act as a control systems engineer for designated projects.
Interact with other engineering disciplines, PMs and clients.
Provide input to initial project schedules and support maintenance of project schedules.
Lead engineering work with process quality reviews and drawing approvals.
Own PLC/DCS programming and HMI configuration.
Perform Software Factory Acceptance Tests and Hardware Acceptance Tests.
Provide man-hour and equipment estimates for proposals.
