Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Manager, Contracts Administrator 1 in Linthicum, MD for the ATP Contracts team. The role leads a team, coaching and developing staff while handling complex contract actions under FAR/DFARS.

You’ll manage negotiations, proposals, and customer interactions, aligning program needs with policy and risk control, in a dynamic, security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years experience in Contracts Administration or related field or Master’s degree with 3 years experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Experience in FAR/DFARS environments and defense contracting.
• U.S. Citizenship and a current/active Secret clearance are required.
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.
• Guides and mentors the Contracts Administration team; supports career growth.
• Leads proposal preparation, negotiation, contract administration and customer activities.
• Interprets program and contract information for reviews with leadership.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specs.
