Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in design and construction contract administration.
• Advanced knowledge of CM@Risk, Design Build, Design/Bid/Build and JOC.
• Ability to interpret and apply UC Facilities Manual, UC Bulletins, California Public Contract Code, Labor Code.
• Excellent written and oral communication to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Draft and issue highly complex contracts in compliance with Public Contract Code and UC policy.
• Provide counsel to delegated units on project delivery methods and contract language.
• Coordinate activities related to legal issues, claims, and major capital litigation.
• Lead and mentor staff, ensuring adherence to departmental guidelines and policies.
