Job summary

Entegris, Inc. seeks a Lead, Continuous Improvement in Decatur, TX to drive process optimization and yield improvements across purification processes. You will manage cost-saving projects, mentor teams, and partner with operations, quality, and facilities to deliver measurable gains.

The role requires a strong background in chemical or industrial engineering, proventrack record in leading improvement initiatives, and expertise in SPC, yield monitoring, and data analysis. Travel is <10% and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years in a process engineering or lead engineering role, preferably in chemical purification.
• Proven track record in cost savings projects and project management.
• Experience with SPC and yield monitoring systems.
• Willing to travel but less than 10%.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with leadership ability.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher and PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Identify and lead projects to reduce variation and waste; optimize purification processes.
• Develop and implement a yield monitoring program to address losses and variances.
• Drive cost savings initiatives and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Prepare detailed project reports with cost-benefit analysis and progress updates.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, product management, and facilities to implement improvements.
• Lead and mentor teams on best practices for process control and optimization.
• Use statistical methods and SPC to monitor performance and identify root causes.
