Job summary

Kustom is seeking a Lead Contents Technician to clean and process damaged residential and commercial properties. You will perform pack out, inventory, and deodorization, with duties including restoring structures and managing contents with care.

Responsibilities include assisting with estimating, logging items in iCat, and coordinating with project teams. The role requires hands-on labor, adherence to schedules, and willingness to travel locally as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in cleaning or general labor.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Emergency restoration or related experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Eligible to operate a vehicle per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with estimating in Xactimate and Symbility.
• Keep photo and descriptive logs in iCat per procedures for structures/contents.
• Pack and unpack clients’ property carefully.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties (floors, walls, glass, debris).
• Remove smoke residues from contents and structures.
• Provide post-construction cleaning for occupancy readiness.
• Photograph and inventory restorable and non-restorable items.
• Transport contents from site to storage/cleaning facility as directed.
• Complete work timely and meet deadlines.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and secure gear.
