Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a senior corporate communications professional to develop and execute communications across audiences. The role involves drafting, editing and supervising print and web materials, with mentorship to teammates and collaboration with leadership at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Arts or Business with 12+ years in corporate communications or 15 years with senior leadership.
• Editor and writer experience for an agency or media publication.
• Experience with communications tools, strategies and implementation processes.
• Ability to lead others under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work with a diverse, cross-functional team.
• Experience working independently and taking initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications to meet the needs of multiple audiences with clients and management at all levels.
• Draft, edit and supervise production of communications (print, web, etc).
• Mentor other team members and support their development.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

This position is responsible for developing and executing a variety of communications to meet the needs of multiple audiences through interaction with clients and management at all levels of the corporations; drafts, edits and supervises the production of communications (print, web, etc) to be distributed to a variety of audiences; acts as a mentor to other team members.

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Arts or Business and 12 years corporate communications experience OR 15 years corporate communications experience working with senior level leadership.
• Experience as an editor and writer for an agency or media publication.
• Experience with communications tools, strategies and implementation processes.
• Experience leading others when working under pressure and when needing to meet short deadlines.
• Experience leading and working well with a diverse, cross-functional team.
• Experience working independently, taking responsibility and initiative.

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Master Degree in Business or Communications.
• Experience with social media trends, mediums, and content.
• Experience in editing/writing articles and blogs.

This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

Compensation: $70,600.00 - $149,600.00
