Job summary

Allegiance Group in Chicago seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site construction across commercial and multifamily projects. The role oversees subcontractors, field teams, site logistics, safety, and schedules, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Strong multifamily or commercial experience is valued, with ground-up work preferred. Proficiency in Procore/Bluebeam/MS Project/P6 is expected, coupled with leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Proven Superintendent experience with a General Contractor.
• Strong background delivering commercial construction projects.
• Multifamily experience preferred but not essential.
• Ground-up construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong subcontractor, scheduling, safety, and quality-control experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, P6, or similar software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction from mobilisation through closeout.
• Manage subcontractors, field teams, site logistics, safety, quality, and schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Review drawings, specifications, sequencing, and potential project risks.
• Run site meetings and monitor manpower, deliveries, inspections, and milestones.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard.
• Manage RFIs, field documentation, punch lists, and closeout.
