Job summary

CORE Builders is seeking an on-site Superintendent to lead field activities for projects in the SF Bay Area. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage production, and maintain safety and quality from start to finish.

You will communicate critical path needs to the project team, review drawings, and ensure adherence to schedules and budget while mentoring Assistants and Field Engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience running work in a lead capacity.
• Experience in-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Bi-lingual abilities a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field activities and subcontractors to ensure plan/spec compliance.
• Schedule and conduct inspection walks to complete the project activities.
• Communicate critical path needs to the project team and resolve issues.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Provide QA/QC support and manage punch lists with the Assistant Superintendent.
• Lead weekly safety walks and document observations.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for constructability and accuracy.
