Job summary

Montana Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, seeks a Construction Superintendent to coordinate personnel and equipment on heavy civil projects across Montana. You will supervise crews, manage schedules, and maintain strong client relationships while traveling to job sites as required.

The ideal candidate has a proven leadership background in heavy civil construction, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor a diverse crew.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in heavy civil construction (excavation, utilities, grading, site work, concrete and asphalt paving).
• Progressed from laborer to leadership role; ability to teach and mentor crews.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules with Project Manager/Estimator.
• Schedule projects, personnel and equipment; coordinate with dispatcher.
• Lead daily crew interactions and ensure accurate timekeeping and cost tracking.
• Review project plans and startup lists to coordinate utilities, subcontractors and materials.
• Promote safe working environments and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Travel to multiple job sites as needed.
