Job summary

Alpha Residential's Sigma Build seeks a Superintendent to own a project from groundbreaking to closeout in the Pittsburgh region. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate with architects, engineers and subcontractors to translate plans into real-built projects.

Bring 5+ years in supervisory construction, a solid grasp of methods and sequencing, and a track record of delivering on time, within budget, with a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervising construction sites and teams.
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials and sequencing.
• Proven track record delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Ability read blueprints and translate plans into daily direction.
• Strong organizational skills and leadership to gain subs' buy-in.
• Problem-solver mindset to anticipate issues before they cost time or money.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction from groundbreaking to closeout.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and subcontractors to implement plans.
• Develop and manage realistic project schedules.
• Supervise on-site teams with a safety-first culture.
• Monitor quality and prevent shortcuts.
• Provide clear updates on progress, milestones, and risks.
• Track budgets and resources to finish projects on plan.
