Willmeng Construction, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on assigned projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget control.

The role requires coordinating material procurement, coordinating with owners, architects, and municipalities, and supervising subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget. You will create look-ahead schedules, lead productive meetings with subs, and ensure compliance with Willmeng quality standards, codes, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience in commercial construction.
• Technical knowledge across commercial construction markets.
• Average tenure of 5 years at previous employers.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of building codes and OSHA safety requirements.
• Proficiency with construction scheduling and PM software.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure site safety on assigned project(s).
• Plan, coordinate, sequence work, and procure materials.
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors to meet schedule and budget.
• Create and manage 3-week look-ahead schedules and visual plans.
• Lead meetings with subcontractors (weekly, daily huddles, last planner).
• Manage Owner-Architect-Contractor interactions and approvals.
• Review documents for completeness and constructability.
• Generate and track RFIs as needed.
• Collaborate with inspectors and authorities for approvals.
• Demonstrate skilled workmanship when applicable.
