Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction works on a Berwick-upon-Tweed project. The role is FTC/Freelance and requires hands-on site leadership to deliver safely, on time and to high quality standards.

You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensure health and safety procedures, monitor progress and report to the project management team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager in construction.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work valid.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of construction site operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, operatives and suppliers to align with programme.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are implemented on site.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and implement solutions.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and meet specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and safety checks.
• Liaise with project management and stakeholders.
• Manage site documentation, RAMS, permits and records.
• Coordinate materials, plant and labour for site efficiency.
• Report progress, issues and variations to the project team.
