Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
• Ability to identify exposures and drive corrective action.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.
• Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills; good written and verbal communication.
• Customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce project safety, health, and environmental policies.
• Observe and stop work when immediate danger is present to life and health.
• Collaborate with Safety Director to implement corrective actions based on policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership on assigned projects and build relationships with project staff.
• Function as site Safety Professional for all assigned construction projects.
• Act as an onsite resource for safety questions, concerns, and improvements.
• Coordinate Safety Committee meetings and deliver training programs for managers and employees on accident prevention.
• Enforce safe work practices in compliance with regulations and owner/contractual requirements.
