Pogue Construction is seeking a dedicated safety professional to lead on-site safety efforts at our Texas projects. You will conduct audits, ensure compliance, and coordinate with subcontractors to uphold safety standards across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and clear communication with project teams and clients. A strong foundation in safety principles and experience in commercial building construction is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits and issue violation reports.
• Require corrective action by subcontractors.
• Serve as site Safety Professional for assigned projects.
• Lead safety trainings and meetings on site.
• Educate project staff on safety guidelines and policies.
• Enforce safe work practices per regulations and contracts.
• Coordinate with Safety Director on improvements.
• Develop partnerships with Subcontractor Safety Reps.
• Resolve field safety issues and communicate with staff and subs.
• Provide onsite safety support and guidance as needed.
