Job summary

Knife River Corporation is seeking a Project Superintendent to effectively supervise the construction project, employees and subcontractors, ensuring coordination and profitable completion. Typical schedule is Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday as needed.

As a key leader, you will manage field crews, monitor progress, enforce the Safety Plan, and work with Owners and Project Representatives to resolve issues and keep costs under control.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction incl Earthwork, Concrete Paving, Underground Pipe, etc.
• 5 years DOT experience as a Project Superintendent.
• Familiarity with MS Office Programs, HCSS, Heavy Job.
• Background/MVR check with clean driving record.
• Overtime flexibility and ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Ability to coordinate engineers, owners and project managers.

Responsibilities

• Manages and schedules all personnel, subcontractors, equipment and materials.
• Communicates with stakeholders to outline work scope and plans.
• Monitors progress against schedules and budget.
• Oversees the safety plan implementation for all personnel.
• Maintains and updates project forecast for timely deliveries and resources.
• Reviews logs and notifies project manager of issues and actions.
• Interacts with Owner's personnel daily and manages contractual obligations.
• Assists in monthly payment requisitions and cost control.
• Ensures project is completed on time, on budget and to spec.
• Performs other duties as required.
