Job summary

Knife River is seeking a motivated Senior Project Manager for its Utah Division. Occasional travel may be required based on project needs. The role requires independence and strong teamwork to deliver successful projects.

Responsibilities include cost reporting, tracking daily production, subcontract management, and maintaining budgets and schedules. A construction management or civil engineering degree and 5+ years PM experience with HCSS tools are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years minimum as Senior Project Manager; 10+ years in construction
• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Experience with HCSS estimating software, scheduling software, quantity takeoffs, and contract items (billings, change orders, submittals)
• Strong customer relations skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost reporting and control systems
• Track daily production
• Maintain information processed in Heavy Job
• Assist with WIP worksheets and processes
• Assist with job setup
• Solicit and manage subcontract processes
• Manage subcontract process
• Ability to perform all functions of estimating
• Accurately maintain job budgets and schedules
• Perform other work as assigned
• Manage and direct overall project performance
