The role emphasizes coordination with subcontractors, owners, and design teams, plus budgeting, scheduling, and risk management to deliver on-time, on-budget results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 7+ years construction management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted drivers license required.
• Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
• May be required to work non-traditional hours and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.
• Manages the prestart checklist and supports preconstruction activities including quantity takeoff, bid package development, schedule development, and bid advertisements.
• Leads buyout schedule, reviews pricing and scope, and manages subcontractor selections and changes.
• Coordinates submittal schedules, shop drawings, samples, and approvals with architects/engineers; ensures timely submittal return to subs.
• Manages project schedules, resources, and Lean principles to meet project milestones; maintains logs for materials and procurement.
• Provides regular reporting on project status, profitability, and budget performance; prepares cost and margin forecasts.
• Leads project closeout processes and interfaces with legal counsel when needed.
• Coordinates stakeholders including subcontractors, owners, field teams, design teams, and vendors.
