Job summary

GPAC partners with a local GC/CM firm in Wisconsin to seek an experienced Project Manager for multifamily and commercial construction. You will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, safety, and client satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years in construction PM, strong leadership and communication, and a background in multifamily, commercial, or government projects. Join a collaborative, fast-paced team with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of construction project management experience in commercial/multifamily.
• Experience with multifamily, commercial, government, mixed-use and office projects.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting and contract administration skills.
• Experience with self-perform construction operations is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project management from award through completion
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement activities
• Coordinate with field leadership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
• Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and change management
• Facilitate owner, architect, engineer, and subcontractor communications
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining schedule and budget objectives
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards
• Mentor and support project engineers and other team members
• Participate in project planning and preconstruction efforts
