Job summary

A Wisconsin-based general contractor/CM is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial and multifamily construction from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects meet budget, schedule, safety, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience across multifamily, commercial, government, and mixed-use projects, with strong scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing multifamily, commercial, government, mixed-use, office, and specialty projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Experience working with self-perform construction operations is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of project management from award through completion
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement activities
  • Coordinate with field leadership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
  • Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and change management
  • Facilitate owner, architect, engineer, and subcontractor communications
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining schedule and budget objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards
  • Mentor and support project engineers and other team members
  • Participate in project planning and preconstruction efforts

A local GC/CM firm with a strong and established presence throughout Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team.

With a diverse portfolio that includes multifamily, commercial, government, mixed-use, office, and specialty projects, this company offers the opportunity to lead complex and impactful projects while working alongside some of the industry's most respected construction professionals.

Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery in terms of budget, schedule, safety, and client satisfaction.
