Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, architecture or related field.
• Five years of experience in construction project management.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods and contract administration.
• Ability to administer and manage contracts through completion and closeout.
• Experience in design supervision, budgeting, cost control, estimating and scheduling.
• Familiarity with Florida Uniform Building Code and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage design, construction, and delivery of new County buildings and renovations.
• Plan, estimate, and implement construction contracts and projects.
• Create contract scope and administer contracts.
• Oversee project progress, budgeting, and cost control.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors; communicate with stakeholders.
• Contribute to budget planning for the division.
