SpaceX is seeking a Principal Construction Project Engineer to lead land development and utility work for Starship infrastructure in Louisiana. You will drive design reviews, permitting, and field execution for multi-discipline teams, with relocation to Louisiana planned after early 2027 and initial work from Starbase, Texas.

Qualifications include a PE license, 15+ years of construction and 5+ years in large-scale land development, plus CAD proficiency and strong decision-making under pressure.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, architecture, or construction management.
• 10+ years of construction experience.
• 15+ years of construction experience preferred.
• 5+ years of large-scale land development experience.
• Infrastructure experience: power, water, airport/airfield, marine, etc.
• Proficient in stormwater management, hydraulics, and site development.
• Knowledge of electrical, piping, geotechnical and surveying disciplines.
• Experience CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit) for site/utility design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong problem analysis and timely decision making.

Responsabilidades

• Own land development and utility projects from scope through activation.
• Build grading, drainage, stormwater management, and underground utilities.
• Review civil designs and translate into buildable sequences and field plans.
• Manage field QC and coordinate a multi-discipline contractor team.
• Drive permitting with local, state, and federal authorities.
• Define requirements, solicit proposals, and manage contracts to closeout.
• Resolve field design and construction conflicts in real time.
