Job summary

Etc Companies Llc seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale, tenant-occupied affordable housing rehab/renovation projects in Chicago, IL and nearby areas. You will manage scopes, bids, budgets and schedules while coordinating with owners, architects and subcontractors.

The role demands 5+ years in construction PM for occupied multi-family units, strong scheduling skills, and proficiency in MS Project, Excel and Outlook, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience in Construction Project Management for occupied multi-family residential units.
• Willing to travel for project sites.
• Solid knowledge of construction processes, management techniques, methods and materials.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related field is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Project, Word and Excel; Outlook; Timberline/BlueBeam a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive scopes and RFPs.
• Create and manage project schedules; monitor progress and critical paths.
• Estimate projects and manage budgets.
• Interface with Owner/Owner’s Representative on schedule and issues.
• Administer subcontractor bidding; develop scopes and bid comparisons.
• Conduct weekly meetings and site safety reviews.
• Review progress for quality and conformance to drawings/specs.
• Supervise Project Superintendents and close out projects.
