Shimmick is seeking a Project Manager to lead all phases of construction, ensuring safety, compliance and timely delivery. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, engineers and field crews to deliver complex heavy civil projects.

Based in Southern California, the role requires strong capabilities in schedule, budget and risk mitigation, with significant experience managing projects over $30 million. Sponsorship is not offered for US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Previous heavy civil construction experience, managing projects in excess of $30 million.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and risk mitigation.

Responsabilités

• Manage project implementation including schedule, budgets, quality and safety.
• Resource planning and management for project resources, vendors, designers, fabricators and contractors.
• Direct the efforts of the engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction management and commissioning teams to deliver on cost and schedule.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients for future work.
• Prepare and issue progress reports and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory statutes and Shimmick policies and procedures.
• Oversee project updates and quarterly EAC reports.
