Job summary

The Project Manager at JRM Construction is a key member of the project team, responsible for the overall success of a project. The incumbent must possess excellent leadership skills and be able to set, observe and re‑evaluate project priorities frequently.

You will oversee all project activities and personnel, coordinate with estimating, review drawings and schedules, run kickoff meetings, manage reports and budgets, and maintain client relations to deliver high‑quality results in occupied

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant interior/high-end commercial GC experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects in occupied spaces.
• Strong client relations and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings and specs.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Scaffold User Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project activities and personnel.
• Coordinate with Estimating to formulate award schedules for trades during pre-construction.
• Review project documents, drawings, specifications, contracts, scope of work, and construction schedule.
• Coordinate and facilitate kickoff meetings with all key participants.
• Prepare and issue project documents including progress reports, detailed schedules, and budgets.
• Initiate periodic meetings with project team members and clients as appropriate.
• Forecast and track labor, managerial and material costs.
• Monitor project schedule, submittals, RFIs, and open items.
• Monitor budget changes and negotiate fee adjustments with the client.
• Manage budget, expenses, invoicing, and receivables; ensure insurance certificates meet requirements.
• Ensure punchlist completion and sign-off; organize close-out/As-Built documents.
