Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and up to one year of related experience. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential, along with the ability to manage outages and permits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Zero to one year of experience in Electric Utility Transmission & Distribution, Construction, Manufacturing, or similar industries.
• Superior interpersonal, leadership, communication, organizational and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must possess advanced knowledge of MS Office suite (Word and Excel) and submit transcripts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Group to manage capital projects through the full life cycle from definition to closeout.
• Participate on project teams to develop scope, cost estimate, and schedule.
• Conduct on-site field visits and assist in developing schedules including critical paths.
• Develop detailed construction plans and identify outage requirements for new facilities.
• Identify required permits and develop detailed estimates.
• Coordinate with the Utility Company major accounts group regarding outages affecting customers.
