Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Construction Manager to lead large, complex transportation projects with values over $500M. This role requires a PE licensure and a civil engineering degree, with at least 15 years of experience in transit projects and APD delivery.

The successful candidate will oversee project teams, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure design, budget, and schedule adherence across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• PE licensure is required for the role.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience on large, complex transit projects >$500M.
• 4–5 years executing technical aspects including Alternate Project Delivery (APD).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of large, complex projects, acting as client liaison and leading project teams.
• Mentor staff, document lessons learned, and engage with HR on employment offers.
• Supervise design-phase constructability and sequencing reviews.
• Manage bid phase activities including pre-bid meetings and bid evaluations.
• Coordinate preconstruction planning and review contract documents for readiness.
• Ensure compliance with design, budget, and schedule; manage multiple projects.
