Job summary

Montera in Houston, Texas is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead on-site construction for our GW+ hyperscale data center campus. You will act as the owner’s representative, drive schedule-first delivery, manage contractors and vendors, and ensure safety, quality, and turnover readiness.

You will oversee planning, risk management, and collaboration across Development, Program Controls, Procurement, Commissioning, and Operations teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field is required.
• 10+ years of experience delivering large-scale construction projects, preferably hyperscale data centers.
• Experience as an Owner’s Representative/Construction Manager or similar leadership role on technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction execution across assigned projects.
• Serve as Montera’s primary field representative and owner advocate.
• Drive contractor performance against safety, schedule, quality, and budget.
• Coordinate with general contractors, EPCs, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee planning, milestone tracking, and turnover readiness.
• Support safety audits, QA/QC, and site inspections.
