Job summary

DEFTEC Corp is seeking a Construction Technical Inspector Lead to oversee on-site inspection of military construction projects at a base installation in Aurora, CO. You will monitor compliance with technical specs, safety, and QC standards, while documenting site conditions and progress.

The role requires 5+ years in construction management, familiarity with MILCON/large SRM projects, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of practical construction management and oversight experience.
• Knowledge of MILCON or large SRM projects and related regulations.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction on a military installation with daily reporting.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and identify noncompliance with specs or safety plans.
• Develop monthly monitoring reports including as-built and changes to technical documents.
