Job summary

SOLV Energy, via its SDI Services affiliate, seeks a General Foreman to supervise foremen, journeymen and crews on construction sites in Kirtland, NM. You will interpret drawings, plan work, monitor quality, safety and costs, and coordinate field activities to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires 7–10 years in construction with supervisory experience, ability to read plans, OSHA/union knowledge, and urgency. Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $117,000 per year, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in construction, concrete or masonry crew management.
• Journeyman carpenter with supervisory experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and union contracts.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise foremen, journeymen and crews on site.
• Provide drawing interpretation and ensure plan compliance.
• Inspect work for quality and code compliance.
• Plan, schedule work and track materials/progress.
• Order supplies and manage costs and safety.
• Coordinate with field personnel and subcontractors.
