Job summary

Ceres Caribe is seeking a General Foreman for Building Construction to lead multiple field crews and subcontractors on vertical construction projects across Puerto Rico. You will oversee site prep, foundations, framing, finishes, and coordination of trades while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with plans and codes.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, a background in building construction, and experience directing diverse teams toward on-time project completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five+ years of experience in building/construction.
• Three+ years of supervisory experience leading crews or subcontractors.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate architectural and structural drawings; knowledge of building codes.
• Strong OSHA construction safety knowledge and site controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and direct multiple field crews and subcontractors on building construction activities.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily work to meet drawings, specs, schedules, and codes.
• Monitor productivity, quality, staffing, equipment utilization, and performance across zones.
• Conduct field inspections, safety observations, and ensure OSHA compliance and project requirements.
• Mentor Foremen and field personnel to improve performance and skills.
• Coordinate resources to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Communicate with architects, engineers, project managers, and leadership.
