Job summary

Brandise Construction seeks an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our Las Vegas team. You will develop accurate budgets, manage bid packages, and collaborate with project stakeholders from design through final pricing.

The role requires at least five years of estimating experience on commercial projects, strong bid and cost-analysis skills, and proven ability to work with subcontractors and clients throughout the bidding process. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Experience bidding or estimating projects including medical / healthcare facilities, multifamily construction, tilt-up buildings, luxury commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost structures.
• Experience working directly with subcontractors and trade partners.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis from drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Assist in the design-build process, working with architects, engineers, and project teams to develop realistic construction budgets.
• Manage aspects of the bid process, including subcontractor solicitation and scope definition.
• Review and analyze subcontractor proposals to ensure complete scope coverage and competitive pricing.
• Help develop and maintain strong subcontractor and supplier relationships.
• Identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining project quality and design intent.
• Assist with contract review and negotiations when required.
• Maintain organized estimating files, bid documentation, and cost histories.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to construction.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of commercial estimating experience to join our team. This position plays an important role in the preconstruction process, requiring someone who can assist in developing accurate budgets, manage bid packages, and collaborate closely with project stakeholders from early design stages through final pricing.

This is not an entry-level role. Applicants must have direct experience estimating commercial construction projects and working with subcontractors, project teams, and clients throughout the bidding process. Applicants who do not meet the required experience should not apply. Unqualified applications will not be considered.

Required Experience

Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Experience bidding or estimating projects including but not limited to: Medical / healthcare facilities, Multifamily construction, Tilt-up buildings, Luxury commercial projects, Other complex commercial developments
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost structures
• Experience working directly with subcontractors and trade partners
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Design-build project experience highly preferred
• Experience using Procore
• Experience using Raken
• Experience with contract review or negotiation
• Existing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
