IonQ, Inc. in College Park, MD, is seeking a Lead Accountant to join its US Accounting Team. The role is hands-on, focusing on consolidation of a multi-entity, multi-currency group and preparing the consolidated financial results.

You'll own the close process across IonQ's entities, manage reporting packages, and drive improvements to systems and controls with a focus on timely, accurate SEC reporting and compliance with US GAAP. Hybrid work opportunities are available.

Formación

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with consolidation.
• Hands-on experience owning or leading a consolidated monthly/quarterly close.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge (ASC 810, ASC 830, ASC 805).
• Experience with internal controls in a SOX environment.
• Advanced Excel with large data sets.

Responsabilidades

• Consolidated Close Ownership: manage end-to-end close across IonQ entities.
• Subsidiary Reporting Packages governance and review.
• Prepare consolidation entries and top-side adjustments.
• Consolidated Financial Analysis and reporting for leadership and SEC/FP&A.
• Foreign currency translation and CTA roll-forwards oversight.
• Lead business combinations and integration accounting.
• Maintain chart of accounts mapping and governance.
• Support external reporting and SEC materials.
