Job summary

IonQ Inc. in College Park, MD is seeking a Financial Reporting & Equity Administration Senior Accountant to join a cross-functional finance team. You will support financial statement disclosures, equity award processing, and data coordination with Legal, People, Payroll, and external auditors.

The role focuses on quarterly equity rollforward, EPS calculations, tax data reconciliation, and process automation to support IonQ's rapidly growing, globally expanding workforce.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schedules to support financial statements disclosures and ensure accuracy across the Company.
• Prepare schedules to support quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors.
• Prepare quarterly equity rollforward and earnings per share calculations.
• Coordinate with Legal, People, and Payroll to input, process, and reconcile equity data.
• Process bi-weekly equity grants and guide employees through the process.
• Support year-end tax data collection, preparation, and reconciliation.
• Design efficient processes and pursue automation to support growth.
• Respond to employee questions regarding equity administration.
• Assist with implementing new systems and technology with cross-functional teams.
