Job summary

Safran is seeking a Staff Integration & Test Engineer, Connectivity in California. You will lead integration and testing of in-flight connectivity products, validate functionality with automated frameworks, and manage lab environments and testing schedules.

You will collaborate with Systems, Software, Product, and Customer teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and delivery plans, while mentoring junior engineers and driving quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in product development and system integration.
• 7+ years in integration and test lead roles.
• Experience with verification, validation, and complex hardware/software testing.
• Strong understanding of in-flight connectivity systems and protocols.
• Proficiency with test management tools and automation frameworks.
• Hands-on planning, execution, and reporting aligned with schedules.
• Excellent collaboration across global teams and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and testing of IFC products for field deployment.
• Define and maintain test plans and strategies for connectivity systems.
• Develop automated test scripts and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, and operations for timely execution.
• Prepare detailed test reports and risk assessments for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous QA improvements.
