Job summary

Safran Passenger Innovations seeks a Principal Software Engineer, Connectivity to own the architecture, design strategy and technical execution of the AeroConnect In-Flight Connectivity software platform. You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with Engineering Leadership, Product Management, Systems Engineering and international teams to deliver scalable, certifiable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience developing and deploying software in embedded/networked environments.
• 10+ years of experience with software project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven experience delivering high-quality software in complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions across aircraft networks, satellite/air-to-ground connectivity, cabin systems, and ground interfaces.
• Translate product and airline requirements into scalable, certifiable technical designs.
• Lead the software development of connectivity products for deployment in the field.
• Establish development standards, system interfaces, and integration frameworks.
